My name is Venki Prabhu, and I live with my family in Mangaluru , Karnataka, India. Mangaluru is a beautiful coastal city located in the south-western part of India along the shores of the Arabian Sea.

It is well known for its scenic beaches, rich cultural heritage, diverse traditions, and one of the major ports on the western coast of India. The city has a long maritime history and serves as an important gateway for trade and commerce.

I think stamp exchanging is a wonderful way to connect people from different countries and cultures. Every stamp tells a story and reflects the history, wildlife, art, traditions, famous personalities, and achievements of a nation. Through stamps, we can learn about places we may never visit and gain a deeper appreciation of the world's diversity. I am very happy and grateful to be a part of this international stamp-collecting community.

Collecting has been one of my favorite hobbies for many years. I enjoy collecting a variety of philatelic and numismatic items, including:
• Stamps
• Postcards
• Currency notes
• Coins
• Matchboxes
• Matchbox labels

Among all these collections, I have a special interest in items featuring Tigers and Elephants, which are my favourite themes.

My Main Collecting Interests
Stamps
I especially enjoy collecting stamps depicting:
• Tigers
• Elephants
• Wildlife
• Endangered species
• Nature and conservation themes

If possible, I would be delighted if you could use Tiger or Elephant stamps on the envelope you send to me. Stamps used on genuinely travelled mail are always appreciated and add special value to my collection.

Covers and Postal History
I also collect:
• Commercially travelled covers
• Postal history items
• Special cancellations and postmarks
• Interesting postal markings
• Covers bearing attractive commemorative stamps

Used covers that have genuinely travelled through the postal system are always welcome.
What You May Send
If you do not have Tiger or Elephant stamps available, please feel free to send any stamps, covers, or postcards of your choice. I appreciate receiving mail from collectors around the world and enjoy learning about different countries through their postal items.

However, I would prefer:
• Standard postcards rather than folded greeting cards
• Non-advertising postcards whenever possible
• Professionally printed cards instead of self-made cards
• Genuine postally used stamps

Please Avoid
To help maintain the quality and focus of my collection, I kindly request that you avoid sending:
• CTO (Cancelled-to-Order) stamps
• Damaged, torn, heavily creased, or stained stamps
• Sticky self-adhesive stamps left on paper
• Poor-quality or incomplete stamps
• Folded greeting cards
• Advertising cards (ad cards)
• Self-made cards
•
A Small Request
Please use attractive commemorative stamps whenever possible rather than ordinary definitive stamps. I especially appreciate envelopes bearing multiple stamps, thematic stamps, wildlife stamps, or stamps related to your country's culture and heritage.
Every item received is carefully preserved and becomes a valued part of my collection. Your effort in selecting stamps and preparing mail is sincerely appreciated.
