Hello fellow collectors! I collect world wide with my biggest collections of Canada, Australia, US and UK. I primarily have used, modern stamps but focus before the year 2000. I do have and collect MNH and the pre-1940s and older stamps with some potential monetary value but they are a small portion of my collection. Since my moderns really have no financial value and they are basicaly to make me happy, I prioritize interesting and pretty stuff and minimize stamps of guy's heads. (Ho hum. Another stamp of some dude's head. They all look the same. Are they all the same dude?!) I really really like Chinese New Year stamps. I keep some CTOs but only if they are really quite nice, especially plants or animals, so I would prefer not to receive them. And outside of stamps? I love dogs, plants and gardening and my family. I love foraging weeds for a friend's bunny rescue and a smaller amount of foraging for my family. Gingko nuts were a recent crazy experiment. I have a tiny camping trailer and we travelled 14,000km in it last summer (2024). I use a scooter/mobility aid to get around and I love to go offroading with it and find hikes it can accomplish so i can get out in the forest. I'm looking forward to finding something fun in the mail instead of just flyers!
